The 6th Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival, presented in collaboration with the VCGS and sponsored by Capilano University, is designed as celebration of classical guitar in the beautiful setting of Capilano University in North Vancouver. VCGFest is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to participate in masterclasses, workshops, guitar orchestra, a participants’ concert and to be inspired by faculty concerts by Iliana Matos, Dr. Jeffrey McFadden, Dr. Daniel Ramjattan and Luis Angel Medina.

The 3rd Okanagan Guitar Festival, presented in collaboration with the VCGS , is a unique opportunity for guitarists and music lovers to immerse themselves in four days of concerts, masterclasses and workshops in Kelowna. This year’s faculty includes Daniel Bolshoy, Iliana Matos, Alec Pearson, Philip Hansen and the Western Canadian Quartet.

VENUE : The concerts will be held at the Cathedral Church of St. Michael and All Angels (608 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna), masterclasses and workshops will be at UBC Okanagan (3333 University Way, Kelowna).

The second annual Okanagan Guitar Festival is a unique opportunity for guitarists and music lovers to immerse themselves in 4 days of concerts, master classes and workshops from July 6th-9th.  The festival includes three outstanding classical guitar concerts headlined by festival faculty artists Daniel Bolshoy and Luis Angel Medina, Alec Pearson and harpist Vivian Chen, Kelowna’s own Alan Rinehart and flutist Christine Moore, Galina Jitlina with a youth ensemble, and Louise Southwood.
