The 7th Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival, presented in collaboration with VCGS and sponsored by Capilano University, is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to join in masterclasses, workshops and a guitar ensemble, and for music lovers to be inspired by faculty concerts by the legendary Argentine guitarist-composer Maximo Diego Pujol, and local guitar champions Michael Kolk, Iminah Kani, Vinny Linhares and Luis Angel Medina.

VCGS teams up with Muzewest to present this amazing season opener. The winner of multiple major international competitions including the Guitar Foundation of America, Russian-born guitarist Vladimir Gorbach is hailed as an exquisite master of the classical guitar.  He has been called ‘nothing short of a magician’ for his refined musicianship, elegant tone, and mesmerizing  technique.  Vladimir performed on the VCGS stage in 2013 and we’re thrilled to welcome him back for our 20th anniversary season.
