Alan Rinehart has been a cornerstone of Canada’s classical guitar scene for over 50 years as a performer, teacher, and editor.
A founding member of the Vancouver Guitar Quartet, he helped bring world-class chamber guitar music to audiences across Western Canada. He’s performed everywhere from local concert stages to a royal engagement for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2016.
With ten solo albums and one with the Quartet, his recording Verdi’s Guitar was named among Classical Guitar Magazine’s Top 10 of the year. His recent releases, Musick to Delight and In Parlors Past, share his passion for bringing the beauty of early music to modern listeners.
