GuitarFest West 2018
A week of guitar immersion guaranteed to excite and inspire.
Classical GuitarFest West focuses on developing solo performance skills through private lessons and masterclasses, while enhancing musicianship through ensemble and/or flamenco rehearsals. Technique classes and rehearsals run for three hours each morning, and afternoons are filled with faculty recitals and lectures, student performance workshops and masterclasses. Students receive three private lessons with one or more faculty members and the week caps off with a student recital featuring solo and ensemble performances. Featured activities include:

Applications are now open for the 2017 Wilson Center Guitar Festival taking place August 17-19 in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Featuring four separate competitions—Classical, Fingerstyle, Jazz, and Rock & Blues—the Wilson Center Guitar Festival is open to competitors of all ages. Thanks to the generosity of Competition Prize Money Sponsors Mark & Sharon Cameli in memory of John Cameli, the fifth annual competition will feature increased prize money totaling $32,000, and all first-place winners will have a chance to open for guitar legend and Festival headliner Kevin Eubanks on August 19.
