You are invited to attend this masterclass given by our most recent performing artist and the Kiwanis 2025 adjudicator, Charles Hobson. The class will take place from 4:30 to 7:30, Friday, April 25 at the Canadian Music Centre. 837 Davie St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1B7.

Students will perform in a Masterclass for Marko March 13. 12:15 to 2:15pm. The masterclass will take place at the UBC School of Music.

Due to a last-minute change of itinerary beyond VCGS’s control, this event has been cancelled. Our Nov.1 concert will continue as scheduled.

Students from UBC will perform in concurrent masterclasses for VCGS artists Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan. This event is open to the public for free auditing.

If you are a member of the public and are interested in performing for Steve or Adam, we have a few spots currently open.

Students from UBC will perform for VCGS artist Dale Kavanagh. This event is open to the public for free auditing. A few spots remain for non-UBC students to register. Email outreach@vancouverguitar.org for more information.

Following Pavel’s Feb. 10th performance, he will give a masterclass to UBC students on Sunday, Feb. 11th at UBC School of Music starting at 12:00 PM. Come and watch at no cost. Open to all ages and skill levels.

Following Anna and Michael’s Nov.4th performance, they will give a masterclass on Sunday, Nov. 5th at UBC School of Music starting at 1:00 PM. Michael and Anna will each teach UBC students concurrently. There is limited room for the general public to register on a first come first serve basis but everyone is invited to come at watch at no cost. Open to all ages and skill levels.
