Virtuoso Brazilian guitarist, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Celso Machado, is considered one of the most versatile and exciting musicians and composers of Brazilian music around today. He is renowned as an imaginative and expressive performer of Brazilian folkloric and popular styles, interpreted with a range of his own influences – he’s especially fascinated by other world music traditions. While Celso’s music is rooted in Brazilian rhythmic and melodic styles, he finds similarities between the music of southern Italy and northeast Brazil, the Egyptian Maqsoum and the Brazilian Baião rhythm, the Moroccan Gnawa rhythm and Afoxé and Samba. Celso incorporates these variations into his own sound; his own unique contribution to the ongoing evolution of Brazilian music.

Josh J. Searles has spent a lifetime honing his craft across various genres and instruments. An acclaimed and award winning classical guitarist, composer, and DJ, Searles holds a Master's degree in classical guitar performance from the prestigious University of Alicante, where he studied under world-renowned guitarists. Including Grammy-winning David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, and Meng Su. In 2019 he was rewarded with the E.G. Montgomery award for excellence in performance by world class virtuoso guitarist Alexander Dunn.

Liam MacDonald is a versatile drummer and multi-percussionist known for bringing dynamic energy to every performance. He has worked with renowned artists including David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Marc Ribot, Matt Andersen, Harry Manx, and Celso Machado. Specializing in Afro-Brazilian and Afro-Cuban percussion and Middle Eastern frame drums, Liam has performed across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Based in Vancouver for the past 15 years, he is an active figure in the city's blues and roots music scene.
