A New Landmark Classical Guitar Competition

The MacManus Guitar Competition is a new international classical guitar competition established to discover and support the next generation of world-class artists. Presented as part of the MacManus Guitar Festival in Seattle, the event will be held at Town Hall Seattle from June 12–14, 2026.

Competition Prizes

The competition offers one of the most significant prizes in the guitar world: an 80-concert World Tour across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia — a career-defining opportunity made possible through Michael MacManus’s global network of presenting companies.

Entry fee:

USD $150- non-refundable entry fee for the 2026 MacManus Guitar Competition.

The festival artists will include:

Edith Pageaud (guitar), Grisha Goryachev (flamenco), Andrew Blanch & Eugenia (guitar & voice), Mak Grgić & Gary Levinson (guitar & violin), Joscho Stephan Trio (gypsy jazz), Eleanora Strino (jazz), Joe Robinson (acoustic fingerstyle), and Ernest Aines (folk).
