Martha Masters first achieved international recognition in 2000 when she won first prize in the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition. That same year she also won the Andres Segovia International Competition in Linares, Spain, and was named a finalist in the Alexandre Tansman International Competition of Musical Personalities in Lodz, Poland.

Since then, Ms. Masters has been active as a solo recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist around the world. Her 2015/2016 season included appearances at festivals and on concert series through the United States, Germany, Poland, Russia, and China. 

Masters received both the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory, where she studied with Manuel Barrueco, and completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California as a student of Scott Tennant.

Ms. Masters is currently on the guitar faculty of Loyola Marymount University and California State University Fullerton, and is president of the Guitar Foundation of America. She has five recordings on the Naxos and GSP labels, and has published books three books with Mel Bay Publications and Alfred Music.  For more information, visit www.marthamasters.com.

Jeff Wilson

Jeff Wilson grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland & trained as a structural geologist.  He worked in mineral exploration around the world, settling in Vancouver in 2004, and took art classes at Emily Carr University, kickstarting a hobby that transitioned to a full-time art practice in 2013.

Jeff has produced a series of painting collections that have exhibited across a wide range of public galleries in BC, Alberta and WA State.  This includes the Art Gallery of St. Albert, Port Moody Arts Centre, The LanghamOkotoks Art GallerySmithers Art GalleryGibsons Public Art GalleryACT Gallery, Bellingham City Hall and the University of Washington Law School.

Jeff has received a number of awards, including a Finalist in the inaugural Saltspring National Art Prize, and two Downtown Eastside Small Arts Grants from the Vancouver Foundation.  Jeff has completed residencies at the Booth in Shetland, Parks Canada’s Art in the Park and the Wallace Stegner House.  His work is held in numerous private and public collections, including Alexco Resource Corp., BC Children's Hospital, Firehall Arts Centre, Forum Capital partners, MOI Solicitors, Salmon Arm Art Gallery, SimplexGrinnell, Smithers Art Gallery, the Town of Okotoks, Union Gospel Mission, VGH Foundation, Victoria Gold Corp. and Western Potash Corporation.
